CG Tutors is an Online Tutoring agency the specialises in all things from homework and project assistance, to aiding in studying and study skills, and providing assistance and extra lessons for particular subjects that a student may struggle in. We also provide assistance in homeschooling via online platforms.

Our experienced tutors work online with the students in a professional and friendly manner. Our focus is to ensure that the students learn in a comfortable atmosphere with methods that suit them; ensuring optimal learning and understanding.

How It Works

All tutoring sessions are conducted online:

All our lessons are conducted online in a professional and friendly manner. We use various platforms to ensure that our students learn in a way that is easiest for them. The platforms we use are as follows: Skype, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and WhatsApp video call. It is important that the student has a stable internet connection and the use of a cellphone, tablet, laptop, computer or any alternative device when the lesson is given.

Length of lessons:

Our normal lessons run on the time frame of 1 hour. However, this can be altered according to the age of the student and his/her level of concentration. The cost of each lesson is thus determined by its length.

Our tutors:

All our tutors have years of experience in tutoring or/and are qualified teachers

Payments:

At the end of every month an invoice is sent via email to the respective client. All the tutor sessions are listed with the amount owning. Payments are to be made by the last day of every month.

CG Tutors offers tutoring and assistance to students from the age of 4 to Grade 7.

Our tutors are able to work with all curriculums including CAPS, Cambridge, IEB, etc.

Please note that all lessons are given in the medium of English.

Specific Subject Assistance (Gr. 1 - 7)

If the student is in need of assistance in a specific subject. Then please take note of the subjects available for tuition below.

Homework Assistance (Gr. 1 - 7)

If homework assistance is required then the assistance will be granted for all of the subjects available for tuition below.

Homeschooling

We also offer our services to work with homeschooled learners online up until Grade 7.

Please note that we do not provide the curriculum or work content; and only assist.

Younger Learners age 4 - Grade 3

All subjects for students from age 4 to Grade 3 are an option for tutoring. This includes basic numeracy, phonics, reading, spelling, life skills, etc.
